Dr Haj, you look very conservative but your views are surprisingly modernist similar to Mohammad Abdu. Is your opinion on the Quran the same as that of your close friend Mr Yasir Al Kazi who said there are major holes in the narrative of the preservation of the Quran which no Muslim scholar can answer and they aren’t even aware of the great scholarship and challenges posed about the Quran’s authorship that he learnt at Yale and Harvard ? Would you like to be resurrected with him on the Day of Judgement?

Personally, the main reason I can't be muslim is because I don't believe the evidences are available to non-Arabic speakers. If muslims simply put in more effort to translate their primary texts, I would at least be able to make an independent judgement on whether islam is true or not. For now this religion is just a fantastical claim like any other religion

One of the things that has troubled me the most is when some scholars refuse to contextualise received traditions to modern ways of thinking, such that these traditions become arbitrary, since people no longer understand them, I know you have addressed the issue of Apostasy Law, but I think more needs to be done to explain such things to people. One of your students (Jake Brancatella) has charged me with kufr multiple times, because I took the view that Apostasy Law has a particular context in which it made sense (context of bayah/oath, or context of war), I watched your video and saw that you already outlined many of these positions, people like Jake and Daniel Haqiqatjou who have big platforms go on the internet and tell people that "you will be executed if you leave Islam" or "if you convert to Islam and then leave, you will be executed", I hope you can be able to relate to how that sounds to the modern ears, they call us a Mafia or things like that, which is very difficult for some of us to bear. Please make another video on the Apostasy Law addressing these issues.

The hasnat ppl do on your behalf after the death the prayers ppl make for you on your jinaaza, The torment of grave will also cleanse you. Giving charity on behalf of your deceased. PPl not cleansed in this liffe and in the grave then the horrors od DOJ will cleanse them in the afterlife, by crossing over the hellfire, then the ppl not cleansed despite all this, will be the ones who will fall into heellfire. MAy LLah protect us. paying attention to succession of teh days the cumulative gains and losses in ur condition In your station and position with ALlah SWT There is alwaz cumulative inc or decrease There is ziada or nuqsaan The passing of days will add to your position or take away from your position These will accumulate so ur condition with Allah is getting better better or los Wasting these ayaam and being protevtive of your hoiurs, minutes and secionds . So he may make up what he missed and make most of what was left.

Unpopular yet humble opinion: I think it should have been Inheritance, Wasiyyah and then Family law I (Book of Marriage) as it gives a better perspective into legal ruling(s), inheritors and so on. Allah knows best.
